I recorded this single track onto a thumb drive using the record function of my Yamaha S90XS synthesizer with a user preset created from the "Sunday" Pipe Organ voice. I am working on an extreme multitrack 7.1 surround project at 32 Bit floating point/96 kHz sampling frequency with a Fireface 800 into Nuendo 7. It will use a multitude of the finest musical instruments, including, but not limited to, a 60th Anniversary vintage 1954 Fender Stratocaster, a Yamaha S90XS 88 key synthesizer, and a Yamaha DTX450K electronic drum set. It will take a while. So, I figured I would make a simple single track Red Book standard recording of "Amazing Grace" as a temporary post until my main project is finished. I have an earlier recording of "Amazing Grace" I made years ago by layering multiple tracks of several instruments on analog tape. My analog tapes are in safe deposit boxes in the bank. When my 7.1 project is finished, I will post it on this website, and possibly activate one of my other domains specifically for audio recordings. This is a fun hobby for me. Everything on my sites will always be free of charge. I hope someone enjoys my material...
