BOYCOTT NEW CARS
deanrichardkibbe.com We all know that movies are mostly bullshit. Rambo ain't gonna be in anybody's squad or fire team in the first place if he is too stupid to get in the prone position and fire, instead of running upright through a rice paddy and thinking that he can walk into a barrage of automatic weapons fire without getting hit by a single round. But, then there is always the myth of the super soldier. A person with some kind of secret skill that nobody else can figure out that allows him or her to handle combat with an alien being that can run faster than a dog, using only a handgun, a relatively inaccurate weapon for most humans, that somehow can fire off an unbelievable number of rounds before reloading. In the Viet Nam era it was the "Green Berets", a nickname for the U.S. Army Special Forces, complete with a song that sold a million records, after an appearance on the Ed Sullivan show, without The Beatles for backup, 999,999 copies of which are sitting in a store room at an undisclosed government installation. Now it's the highly publicized top secret Navy Seals. They both actually existed, even back in Viet Nam, and still do, as well as other groups that are nowadays collectively referred to as "special operations". But, it would be more accurate to call them limited operations. They did and do the same thing that any standard rifle company does, search and destroy, patrols, ambushes, etc. but usually also ran limited operations of a related similar format at the same time. The Green Berets had their Special Forces camps, where they worked as "advisors" to native troops who performed combat activities along with them. Old maps of South Viet Nam which were available to many people showed locations of alleged C.I.A. command posts. Bullshit of course. They used the locals as spies to gather intelligence from other Vietnamese civilians, operating out of the Special Forces camps, run mostly by army troops, as well as running South Vietnamese spies in civilian clothes out of "CAP" units, which were run in theory mostly by marines, as well as "intelligence" personnel. But, although those troops received extra training, which was helpful for the functions they performed, there is a limit to how dead you can kill someone; and, they were not given any super powers to make bullets bounce off their chests, and they never got a single confirmed kill from a big heavy log. Of course everybody has heard of the Green Berets. But, most people have never heard of "CAP", because the C.I.A. got a little heavier into the intelligence gathering, psychological operations, and other activities they don't advertise about, in the "CAP" units. So, the U.S. Marines that the "CAP" units used for combat duties, after the C.I.A. was done with them, were murdered by the C.I.A., and marked as killed in action to keep the C.I.A.'s cover, and all their evil deeds, a secret from the people back in the states. So, most of us didn't survive. If you think that is bullshit, compare notes among those who ended up with the shiny box, with a lid that had to be kept closed, and the colorful rag, and the tooting horn, and the faux twenty one gun salute: the next of kin. Many years ago, a marine liaison officer to then Congressman Bonior's office, told me over the phone, from somewhere in the D,C. or Virginia area, while I was standing in Congressman Bonior's Port Huron office with an aide to Congressman David Bonior, that: "We can't exhume all those bodies.". Anytime you have an organization like the C.I.A. which can legally keep everything they do a secret, they can easily get away with murder. And there isn't anything you can do about it. What you don't know can kill you.
